Internet-Free Day
On Sunday, 25 January 2026, we will mark Internet-Free Day. It is an informal event whose aim is to encourage people to take a break from the online world.
We can:
... remind ourselves that life without the internet is possible and beneficial.
... support real-life activities (sport, family, friends) instead of online activities.
... reflect on excessive internet use and digital addiction.
Plan your weekend activities so that Internet-Free Day becomes an opportunity for digital hygiene and for resetting your digital habits (you surely have plenty of ideas on how to do it, or get inspired by the poster).
On Monday, on the notice board in the entrance hall, you can record how you did – just color in an empty square in the appropriate color:
X I did it (I got through Sunday without the internet)!
X I managed about 50% (compared with another Sunday).
X Maybe next time (I didn't manage to make any changes).
