At the end of January (January 28, 2026), the regional round of the Physics Olympiad in the most demanding category, A, took place in Prešov. Our students proved their quality against strong competition and achieved excellent results:

Tadeáš Havír (4.A) – 3rd place (successful solver)

Krištof Max Kandera (4.B) – 6th place

Matej Kovaľ (4.B) – 7th place
Thanks to his placing, Tadeáš Havír advanced to the national round, held on April 9–12, 2026 in Bratislava. Besides challenging competition problems, a rich accompanying program awaited him, and he achieved a fine 30th place in all of Slovakia.
