A history lesson in 3.A

Our class, 3. A, recently prepared an unconventional program, which we performed in a history lesson. Together we transported ourselves into the atmosphere of the interwar period, when jazz rang through the streets, cabaret lights shone and dance was full of energy and elegance.

During the program we presented various samples from the world of music and entertainment of the 1920s and 1930s. We heard a saxophone performance and jazz and blues singing, and there were also short cabaret sketches that enriched the whole experience with the humor and charm of the era.

One of the highlights of the program was the dance numbers – from the lively Charleston to gently comic moves inspired by Charlie Chaplin. Each performance created a magic that recalled a time when music and dance brought people together and brought joy even in difficult times."
