An expert jury of journalists, photographers and representatives of environmental organizations today announced the winners of the national round of the competition Mladí reportéri pre životné prostredie (Young Reporters for the Environment, YRE). This year the jury assessed 52 entries. The priority theme of the 2025/2026 edition, announced by the FEE international office in Copenhagen, was the impact of climate change on food production.
In the Article 15–18 category, Veronika Oboňová (1.B) won 2nd place with her article An Inconspicuous Parasite in the Treetops of Prešov.
