On 10 October 2025, selected students of our school took part in the district round of the primary school cross-country running competition.
In the girls' category, our secunda student Elena Zapotoková took an excellent 3rd place; out of 32 competitors, she even beat girls two years older than her. We did not have a girls' team, as
two girls dropped out just before the competition.
The boys' team – Damián Ziman from quarta (who took a superb 1st place out of 37 runners), Ondrej Vlkovič from tertia (10th place) and Tomáš Galdun from tertia (20th place) – took a fine 2nd place among 14 primary schools from the Prešov district.
We keep our fingers crossed for Damián Ziman in the regional round, which will take place below the castle in Stará Ľubovňa on 16 October 2025.
We thank all the runners for representing our school so well.
