Students of class 3.B – Bernadeta Balogová, Radoslava Miščíková, Zuzana Pfefferová and Šimon Hajtol – took part in the prestigious international competition Samsung Solve for Tomorrow and with their project YouBe advanced to the TOP 30 teams from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is an innovation competition for secondary school students that supports young people in finding solutions to real social problems. Teams work on their own projects using creative thinking, technology and the principles of design thinking and project-based learning. The goal is to create an idea or prototype that can help a community, society or a specific group of people.
The 3.B team presented the YouBe app, which focuses on mental health care and motivates users to make good use of their day. The app supports healthy habits, self-awareness and everyday mental hygiene. The project also includes a presentation video that the students prepared for the competition.
We thank our students for representing the school so well and wish them every success ;).
