Peer education at GJAR

On 27 October 2025, our school hosted an inspiring workshop in cooperation with the civic association Lietajúca ryba (Flying Fish), with which we have been working successfully for many years.

The main aim of the event was to introduce students to the principles of peer education, show them practical activities and offer tips on how to work effectively with a group.

The workshop received a very positive response – students liked not only its content but also its friendly atmosphere. We are most pleased that all participants expressed interest in joining the “GJAR bez nenávisti” (GJAR Without Hate) program. They want to take an active part in preparing getting-to-know-you and team-building activities that promote cooperation, tolerance and mutual respect.

Their plans also include addressing important topics such as hate speech, cyberbullying and critical thinking. We believe that their enthusiasm and initiative will inspire other schoolmates as well.

Our next goal is to prepare a series of interesting workshops for students of the lower years of the eight-year program and the 1st year of the four-year program. We are already looking forward to further cooperation and new ideas!
