The STEB correspondence seminar is a competition for secondary school students focused on current topics in contemporary scientific research and on evolutionary connections in biology. Students can compete in two categories – basic and advanced. In each category, over the school year, competitors solve theoretical problems in five series and work on a project. The content of the problems goes far beyond the secondary school curriculum.
At the end of June, we were pleased to learn that, against strong competition from all over Slovakia, our student Ema Vasilišinová (VI.OA) took an excellent 5th place in the advanced category out of 74 registered competitors.
We warmly congratulate Ema and wish her many more successes.
