The competition “Čo vieš o hviezdach?” (What Do You Know About the Stars?)
The knowledge competition “Čo vieš o hviezdach?” was held in three rounds this school year, and our students achieved excellent results in it.
District round The district round took place on 26 March 2026, with 13 competitors from the Prešov and Sabinov districts competing in Category III. Our students took top places:
-
1st place – Marek Jambrich (septima)
-

With their placings, Marek Jambrich and Kamila Vooková qualified for the next round.
Regional round In the regional round, held on 23 April 2026, the 11 best competitors from the region measured their skills. Our representatives once again proved their quality:
-
2nd place – Marek Jambrich (septima)
-
7th place – Kamila Vooková (quinta)
From 2nd place, Marek Jambrich successfully advanced to the national final.
National round
At the national round, held on 11 June 2026 in Prešov, Marek Jambrich delivered a fantastic performance. Facing strong competition, he took an excellent 4th place. He even scored the same number of points as the competitor in 3rd place, but on the basis of the competition's tie-breaking criteria he was ultimately awarded fourth place.
We congratulate all three students and thank them for representing the school so well!
