On January 26–27, 2026, the 2nd Winter Students' Olympics was held at Štrbské Pleso in the High Tatras, and our school was represented there too.
Our student Lukáš Tabačko delivered excellent performances, winning the giant slalom on Monday. In Tuesday's slalom he did not finish after straddling a gate and was unclassified (DNF), but the important thing is that, fortunately, he was not hurt.
Lukáš showed not only his sporting form but also great mental strength – a few hours later he lined up in full physical and mental shape for the ski cross, where he won again. With this performance he became a double champion of the Winter Students' Olympics.
We warmly congratulate Lukáš, thank him for representing the school so well and wish him many more academic and sporting successes.
