On 04. 06. 2026, our school's boys' team took part in a secondary school football tournament organized by the City Secondary School Council under the patronage of František Oľha, Mayor of Prešov.
Competing against 16 secondary school teams from Prešov, our boys, after excellent performances in the group stage and in the knockout matches, took an excellent 3rd place overall. After great medal matches, the final standings were as follows: 1st place SSŠŠ ELBE Prešov, 2nd place Gymnázium Konštantínova Prešov, 3rd place Gymnázium Jána Adama Raymana Prešov, 4th place SPŠ elektrotechnická Prešov. We would also like to thank the tournament organizers, who included some of our students, for a superb sporting event at a beautiful new stadium, from which we brought home a fine trophy and bronze medals.
We thank the boys for representing our school so well.
