In the week of 8–12 December 2025, our students took part in the Hour of AI initiative during their computer science lessons.
At the start of each activity, we discussed the use of artificial intelligence, its benefits and its risks. The students tried out interactive activities that developed creativity and critical thinking and showed how AI learns.

Hour of AI is a new global initiative that builds on more than a decade of success with the Hour of Code. It is designed to help students and educators around the world take the first step toward understanding and creating with artificial intelligence.
Through hands-on, easy-to-understand activities, students all over the world will uncover the secrets of artificial intelligence and imagine everything that can be achieved when it is used to its full potential.
As part of the Hour of AI initiative, our school received from the Slovak Ministry of Education a free one-year license for ScioBot, an AI assistant for teachers, for all teaching staff.
