On Wednesday, 20 May 2026, our school turned into a center of creativity, strategic thinking and great spirits. Students from classes 1.B, 2.A, 2.C and 3.B, led by their teacher Zuzana Mackovjaková, prepared a great interactive program called “Podnikavosť hrou” (Entrepreneurship Through Play) for their younger schoolmates from prima and secunda (the educational program is run by Junior Achievement Slovakia)
The aim of the day was to show that the world of business and finance does not have to be just boring numbers and charts, but can also be explored in a hugely fun way.
What did we experience?
Our students went through a variety of activities in which they practiced key skills for real life and business:
Teamwork in solving unexpected challenges.
Creative thinking and generating original ideas.
Marketing basics – how to present and “sell” your idea properly.
Financial literacy and budget planning.
All the important economic terms and business rules were wrapped up in playful competitions, quizzes and practical tasks.
“It was great to see how enthusiastically the prima and secunda students completed the tasks. They showed that they have enormous imagination and that strategic thinking is not foreign to them at all,” said the organizers from the older years.
We are already looking forward to more events like this!
