In the 15th year of the IQ Olympiad, as many as 10,781 students of lower secondary schools and the corresponding years of eight-year grammar schools from all over Slovakia had the courage to take part.
At our school, nine students from prima and tertia took part in the school round, testing their logical and critical thinking.
Out of a total of 1,470 competitors from eastern Slovakia, two of our students advanced to the regional round.
They held their own against strong competition: Adam Adamišin (tertia) – placed 30th among the 70 most successful solvers, and Matiáš Mihály (prima) – took 40th place.
We are glad that our students are eager to think, explore and use their "common sense".
