The regional round of the Young Physicists' Tournament (TMF) took place on February 10–11, 2026 at the Faculty of Science of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University (UPJŠ) in Košice. Our school was represented by students in three 3-member teams:
GJAR1: Petronela Palenčárová (sexta), Stela Palenčárová (quinta), Andrej Harvan (2.C)
GJAR2: Filip Fekete (quinta), Hugo Kováč (quinta), Michal Revický (quinta),
GJAR3: Samuel Ján Saraka (3.B), Sebastián Holovič (quinta), Simeon Dan Saraka (1.B)
The students presented their results at a high level and assessed the results of others objectively.
Within the Prešov Region, team GJAR1 finished in 2nd place, team GJAR2 in 1st place and GJAR3 in 3rd place.
The national round of the Young Physicists' Tournament took place in Košice on March 25–27, 2026. The young GJAR team, made up of Petronela Palenčárová (sexta), Stela Palenčárová (quinta), Filip Fekete (quinta), Hugo Kováč (quinta) and Michal Revický (quinta), achieved 9th place against tough competition (only 4 points behind 7th place). All participating students also met the criteria for successful solvers of the national round.
