The regional round of the Chemistry Olympiad (category B) took place in Svit on April 9, 2026. The event for secondary school students (second years of grammar schools) was hosted by the Jan Antonín Baťa Polytechnic Secondary Vocational School in Svit.
25 students competed; in the demanding theoretical part they solved problems in inorganic, general and organic chemistry. The practical part focused on the alkalimetric determination of the content of a sample consisting of malic acid and lactic acid.

Miloslav Tokár (sexta) – 17th place – successful solver
Jozef Zuščík (2. B) – 19th place – solver
Lukáš Hric (2. B) – 21st place – solver
