The speakers gave us very stimulating information on cancer prevention, showing that by taking responsibility for our own health we can also contribute to a positive outcome in the fight against cancer.
  • GO green!
Students of octava A – Lea Belejová, Zuzana Kaščáková, Daniel Kocan, Marián Kozák and Nicolas Alvarez, participants in the KomPrax project organized under the auspices of IUVENTA and funded by the EU, prepared an interesting afternoon for GJAR students on 4. 12. 2014 dedicated to a „green“ lifestyle.

The main aim of the meeting was to draw students' attention to minimizing the waste they produce and to the importance of recycling it, including on GJAR premises, through an interesting presentation livened up with dance activities.
The meeting ended with a pleasant get-together over refreshments the students had prepared themselves, and with making informational and motivational posters and banners, which they then put up around the school grounds.
