- the coordinator of the Zelená škola (Green School) program, whose role is to guide the school's activities during the certification period and to motivate students and adults to cooperate;
- students of the school – they make up more than half of the committee's members;
- teachers and representative(s) of at least one of the following stakeholder groups: non-teaching staff of the school, parents, the school's founding authority, local government, a non-governmental organization, etc.
Students take a direct part in planning and carrying out steps and decisions and take responsibility for individual tasks – the committee should work in a participatory way. The committee is the main coordinator of Green School activities; it meets as needed and keeps the rest of the school informed about its work in a suitable way.
